The Irruption of the occult

Surely all human societies have made social life with another society ordinarily impalpable to the senses, except in the form of a chill or a shudder, of unexpected invocation or irruptions, or even through intermediate objects. This other society is inhabited by exceptional beings, the exchange with which is carried out intermittently, through random and fleeting channels. Their emergencies configure mutant regions that, with the same easiness with which they appear as everyday nature and routine, reveal themselves as liminal zones that connect incommensurable spheres of reality. Those thresholds that allow transfers from the invisible to the visible and, on the contrary, express critical dimensions of the social, point out ways of individual or collective exaltation, but also the shadow of non-domesticated, sordid aspects, pending debts and regrets.
